Core worked together with a well known, $8 Billion Consumer Products company to develop a custom JD Edwards application to perform PO Order Consolidation. For those that know Sales Order Basket Repricing, this would be Basket Reprice, but for the procurement side of the business. The savings are enormous. The savings are captured in a Savings Log, much like the receipts you get from the grocery store. The difference is, instead of saying "You saved $5.00" we're likely to see "You saved $5000.00". Not bad. Extend those savings over hundreds of orders and you can see the benefits many times over. The ROI was easy to track using the savings log.
